Your craftsmanship will help create calm, warm and welcoming surroundings for patents, visitors, and staff, spaces that are cared for and pleasant to be in. Whether freshening up wards, restoring public areas or supporting essential refurbishment projects, you attention to detail will make a visible difference every day.

**In this hands-on and varied front line role, you will**:

- Carry out a wide range of painting and decorating tasks to a high professional standard.
- Prepare, treat, and finish surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spraying equipment.
- Work safely at all times with paints and materials in line with COSHH Regulations 2002.
- Record completed works using digital systems such as CAFM or PDA devices.
- Support colleagues with minor repairs and fabric maintenance tasks/activities
- Liaise with hospital service leads to schedule works with mínimal disruption to services.
- Complete statutory and mandatory training.
- Working at height using a step ladder.

- Deliver internal and external painting and decorating works to agreed NHS England Health Building Note specifications and timescales.
- Prepare, prime, undercoat, and finish surfaces using the correct techniques and materials to a high standard.
- Carry out minor fabric repairs, patching and finishing as required to a high standard.
- Follow NHS England infection control and safety standards appropriate to healthcare environments.
- Store and use materials in line with COSHH Regulations 2002 and other applicable H&S Regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work and materials used through CAFM or digital reporting tools.
- Support colleagues, apprentices, and trainees where appropriate
- Communicate effectively with key stake holders to coordinate work.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the Estates service, always promoting quality and professionalism.
- Work safely at all times.
