**Mechanical Design Engineer**
**£35,000 - £43,000 + benefits (dependent of experience)**
**Stockport**
I am working with a leading manufacturer in Stockport, they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be designing and developing mechanical and automated machinery from concept to production. It isan excellent opportunity to join a major UK manufacturer who design, manufacturer, supply and distribute products worldwide.
They are offering the Mechanical Design Engineer a salary of £35,000 - £43,000 + benefits (dependent of experience).
**Requirements of the Mechanical Design Engineer**:

- Mechanical Engineering degree or qualifications
- At least 3 year’s design for manufacture experience
- Proficient with Autodesk Inventor
- Experience designing machinery, jigs, fixtures and tools
- Experience with metal pressing, Injection moulding or PVC extrusion die design
- Experience working on conceptual designs through analysis, prototype, testing, to production of the final design
- Experience with FEA or MoldFlow
