In this role, you will work as part of a friendly, supportive team, providing day-to-day care tailored to each person’s individual needs. Whether it is helping someone with daily tasks, building confidence, or supporting their wellbeing, your role is all about making a positive impact.
**What will the role involve?**
Supporting residents with day-to-day care needs
Assisting people to develop life skills and build confidence
Helping individuals stay connected with the community
Supporting personal interests, activities, and routines
Encouraging independence wherever possible
Contributing to care plans and attending reviews
Administering medication under supervision
Working shifts that could include days, evenings, weekends, or overnight cover
What do you need to apply?
- A recognised qualification at HNC Social Care (minimum Level 2) or willingness to work towards SVQ Level 3
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and internet use)
- A caring, compassionate approach
- Flexibility to work on an as and when basis
- Membership of the PVG Scheme
- Registration with the SSSC

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
