**Carpenter**

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Carpenter based at Oxford Brookes University.

This is a full time post which is 37 hours, typically Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, but Oxford Brookes is supportive of flexible working, part time working and job sharing.

**Carpenter Role Responsibilities**
- Undertake planned, preventative and responsive maintenance across residential and academic buildings within the University Estate, working on both commercial and domestic buildings.
- Our Carpenters play a proactive role within a motivated and innovative team, delivering key objectives to meet directorate and university wide requirements.

**Carpenter Role Requirements**
- A recognised apprenticeship in carpentry/joinery. NVQ Level 2-3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
- Significant post-apprenticeship operational experience in chosen discipline plus proven practical multi-discipline operational experience in other building maintenance areas.
