Our decades of experience has helped to shape our company culture and the approach we take to our work." - Due to a recent internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an individual to join us as an Operations Assistant._ **Who are we looking for?** - Self motivated and a true team player - Computer literate and well rounded knowledge on Microsoft Office packages - word, excel etc. - Ability to handle large volumes of work and manage unexpected routine changes - Ability to overcome challenges - problem solve - Stong attention to detail - Show company commitment and willing to 'go the extra mile’ - Excellent organisational skills - multitasker - Excellent customer service/ Administration skills The Role; - Interacting and communicating effectively with our Clients, Suppliers - Collate reports from fleet vehicles - Booking ferries/eurotunnel and associated administration duties - Vehicle fleet maintenance - tax and mot reveiws, booking mot and services - Recordvehicle defects and arrange hire vehicles - Raise POs for supplier works - routine and adhoc - Maintain operative staff daily sheet Making accomodation bookings for operative staff when required - Provide general assistance to operations team - Part time - Monday - Friday (ideally 9:30 - 14:30 or 10 - 15:00) - Permanent - Salary - depending on experience **What benefits do we offer?** - In house training provided - Career development opportunities - Company pension - 25 days paid holiday + 8 bank holiday (pro rata) - Store discounts - Wellness programmes - Employee referral scheme - Death in Service - Free On-site parking - Company events **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Schedule: - Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: - Personal protective equipment provided if required - Temperature screenings - Social distancing guidelines in place - Sanitisation, disinfection or cleaning procedures in place Ability to commute/relocate: - Brandon IP27 0NZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Application question(s): - What is your current notice period? **Education**: - GCSE or equivalent (preferred) **Experience**: - Customer service: 1 year (preferred) - removals or logistics industry: 1 year (preferred) - operations: 1 year (preferred) - Administrative: 3 years (required) **Language**: - English (required) Work authorisation: - United Kingdom (required)
