**Montessori Nursery Teacher**
A position has become available for a qualified Montessori Teacher at an independent children’s day nursery in Waterloo, Lambeth.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Practitioner looking to take the next step in their career, in a role providing ongoing support, development, and progression opportunities, a starting salary of £24,500.00 - £28,000.00 per annum (negotiable),plus benefits.
**Position Details**
Your role:
- Working as part of a team promoting an enabling environment in which children can play, learn and develop
- Planning and delivering activities to extend and support children’s development and learning outcomes
- Carrying out observations, evaluating and recording children’s progress
- Planning and implementing next steps to support children’s development
What you will need:
- Montessori / Teaching qualification ideally with a minimum of 1 year’s setting experience
- A firm understanding of the Montessori ethos
- An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
