Arriva is one of the largest transport services organisations in Europe, employing some 46,000 people and delivering more than 1.2 billion passenger journeys across 14 European countries every year. **About the role** As our Technical Specialist, you will help manage estate of virtual and some physical servers hosted in the Azure Cloud, Private Cloud and On-prem environments. You will support, installations and modifications of all versions of Microsoft Windows server 2008r2 to 2019 This will include security patching and vulnerability remediation's from Defender, Tenable and other systems. You will also manage installation, configuration and maintenance of Active Directory Services including Azure AD. **About you** You can demonstrate experience in providing Technical Support (2nd and 3rd Line Support) in an ITIL based environment. Expertise in Citrix XenApp/Remote Desktop Service, VMware ESX v7 onwards and understanding of network infrastructure (Security/DHCP/DNS) is essential in this role. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly customer facing techniques and listening abilities. You have the ability to work under own initiative, manage own time, and work to deadlines, resolving challenging technical problems.
