**Wessex Lodge are located in Whitechurch in the borough of Basingstoke and Deane in Hampshire, England. It is on the River Test, not far from Newbury, or Berkshire. Much of the town is a Conservation Area. Because of the amount of wildlife in and near the River Test, its course and banks are designated as Site of Special Scientific Interest. Whitchurch is the Gateway to the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.**

**Wessex Lodge offers Nursing, Residential and Dementia care for 40 people. It extends over three floors, with each of the bedrooms providing en-suite facilities, whilst some of the ground floor rooms have access via patio doors onto the substantial gardens.**

**Requirements**:
Duties will include but not limited to:

- Ensure the kitchen is cleaned to the highest standard.
- support the kitchen supervisor in the effective operation of the kitchen
- prepare food and cook in a hygienic manner
- be aware of the resident’s needs and dietary preferences
- wash and sterilize dishes after food service
- Restock food storage containers and pantries.
