**Finance Interim - To support with Year End Audit**

**About Lawsons**

Lawsons is the UK’s largest independent fencing, timber and builders’ merchants and now boasts 36 branches, 700 employees and £200 million turnover, founded in 1921 and operates across London and the South East of England.

**Location - Lawsons Head Office, Colney Heath - AL4 0PG (office based only - 5 days per week)**

**The job role will entail**:

- Assisting with the year end audit of group companies including disclosure notes (e.g. carbon reporting)
- Balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations.
- Analysis for the year
- end tax computations.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- ACA qualified.
- Good quality degree.
- Recently out of practice.
- Good knowledge of tax.
- The ability to work quickly and smartly without supervision.
- Skills to hit the ground running, be adaptable, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
- Ability to meet deadlines and to also work using own initiative with minimum supervision.
