Marsh Commercial are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Account Executive. Based in our Enterprise team (handling small to medium commercial insurance) this is a brand new role designed at growing the business within the SouthWest region.

As a Desk Based Executive, you will be spending 25% of your time servicing existing Clients while the majority of your time will be spent creating and following up on leads, whether these are completely new, former Clients, word of mouth or passed over byColleagues.

**We will rely you to**
- Develop and follow up on leads - both cold and warm, growing the account in the South West region
- Support the management of the client relationship, with a focus on growth (e.g., increasing amount or type of coverage, and/or products and services, for existing accounts) and retention
- Split your time between managing existing Clients (25%) and developing new business (75%)
- Liaise between key stakeholders within the business, insurers and clients, on an ongoing basis to ensure high service delivery
- Serve as a key client contact, managing queries, changes in cover and other client requests
- Managing client expectations

**What you need to have**:

- Insurance or financial services sales experience
- A passion for sales and motivation to develop new business
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with people at all levels
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn
- Resilience and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Open to change and challenges as we are very adaptable to market and clients changes

**What makes you stand out**:

- Strong sales background within insurance
- CII qualifications (or working towards)
