**Quantity Surveyor - EWI / Cladding
Kent
Up to £65K + Benefits**

Howells are working with a leading Construction contractor to recruit an experienced and successful Quantity Surveyor to join their Southern Team to deliver EWI/Cladding projects, acting as the main contractor under Design and Build terms. Typical projectsrange from £5m - £20m and include removing existing cladding and replacing it with a new EWI system.

You will take responsibility, ownership, and accountability for the successful management and control of all aspects of the commercial/financial and contractual elements of internal and external planned maintenance schemes to control and maximise the company'sprofitability, protect the company's legal and contractual obligations under the contract, and manage all day to day commercial issues.

**Quantity Surveyor Key responsibilities**:

- Managing subcontractor packages
- Subcontractor negotiation
- Cost value reconciliation
- Producing cost reports
- Valuations
- Variations
- Final accounts

**Quantity Surveyor Essential experience**:

- Degree or other technical qualification
- Strong commercial awareness
- Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor experience
- Experience in delivering Cladding / External Wall Insulation projects or JCT Contract experience with a main contract
- RICS / CIOB qualification - Preferred
