**A level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is essential for this role**

**1-3 years of care experience, either in a carer or senior carer role**

Oxendon House is a homely residential care home in Market Harborough, that delivers a high standard of care to its elderly residents, making sure everyone is made to feel at home and part of a positive environment.

**Senior Care Assistants**are a valuable part of our team, looking after the welfare and creating a positive environment for all its residents and staff.

As a **Senior** **Care Assistant,** you will be part of our passionate team supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents by providing the highest standard of care.

When you join us as a **Senior Care Assistant** you are making a difference every day by supporting our residents to feel at home.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Leading our team to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing the highest standard of care
- Supporting our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating
- Administering medication
- Writing and updating care plans, and keeping accurate daily records
- Promoting our resident’s choice, dignity and independence and all times
