Legal Counsel

A fast growing international Brokerage/Boutique IB is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their Team in London. In terms of product base they mainly cover derivative/CFD products across commodities, Fixed Income and Equities Products.
This will be a broad In-House legal Counsel role where you will interact right across the business from dealing with transactions to dealing with broader corporate and commercial legal activities.
In this role you will report directly into the GC as part of a small legal team. This London in-house Legal Counsel role comes with great potential of progression within a growing and developing business that has strong financial backing.
**Experience Required**:
- Circa 4-6 years' PQE;
- A good grasp of the regulatory landscape in the UK and EU, and a broad understanding of major international regulatory initiatives including MIFID II, EMIR, ISDA, Financial Crime legislation (including MLRs, MAR, POCA, etc.),
- Practical experience within the financial services industry (either through secondments, working in-house or prior career), preferably with Brokerage, Investment Banking or Corporate Finance firm.
- Practical experience of drafting a range of commercial agreements, with a focus on those with financial services counterparties, and experience of ISDA agreements.
- Willingness to learn new concepts with mínimal guidance.
