We, Coromandel Coast, are a roastery and speciality coffee house collective serving award-winning, climate-smart coffee.

Our coffeehouses, named _**FILTR by Coromandel Coast**_, are in Sanderstead, Chipstead, Addiscombe, Caterham-on-the-Hill, West Wickham and recently Purley.

Our stores are vital to the local community and have grown remarkably since the start.

We're looking for a barista cum all-rounder to strengthen our already competent and conscientious team at our recently opened store at **West Wickham**, as well as for our much loved established store in **Addiscombe**.
- **The role involves the following responsibilities**:_
- **Greet Customers**: Be the friendly face that welcomes guests as they step through our doors.
- **Menu Expertise**: Provide customers with drink menus and answer any questions about origin and taste profile
- **Order Taking**: Pay attention to details when taking orders (such as allergens and milk preferences).
- **Brewing Magic**: Prepare hot and cold beverages, including coffee-based, tea and iced drinks to a high standard.
- **Prep and plate food**:Prepare toasties and plate them according to brand standards.
- **Upsell**: Recommend special items and elevate the customer experience.
- **Cash Handling**: Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards).
- **Cleanliness**: Keep the bar area spotless and maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
- **Equipment Check**: Ensure brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
- **Safety First**: Comply with health and safety regulations.
- **Documentation**:update logbooks and company records around food safety and hygiene.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£13.15 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 34 per week
