Person Specification - Psychology Graduate - SEN TA
The school want to meet a progressive Psychology Graduate who has previous experience working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role and achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree. You will possess a happy, enthusiastic temperament and a passion foreducation. You will be able to meet the requirements of the syllabus through your advanced understanding of the curriculum. About the Psychology Graduate - SEN TA Role
This is a SEN school that operates a mentorship system available for all support team members who would like to receive extra training from a SENCO or another passionate and well established specialist. Your Psychology Graduate - SEN TA duties will includetargeting specific areas for improvement with SEN pupils and using the available resources to help them reach their goals. You will be developing your own activities for the children by brainstorming with the rest of the teaching and support staff. You willbe surrounded by an expansive supply of learning resources and you will be encouraged to use them. Working with students, either 1:1 or in groups, it will be up to you to ensure all pupils are progressing well and focussed on their lessons.
