Actual Annual Salary: £2,616 - £2,696 (5 hours per week) = £12.37 - £12.83 (per hour)

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £23,152 - £23,864 (CLF Grade Ai). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.

Hours: Part time Monday - Friday

Additional role information: Working pattern = Monday to Friday, 1 hour per day, 12:15 - 13:15

Are your children starting school in September, or are you suddenly going to have more time on your hands? We are looking for passionate and inspiring Lunchtime Supervisors to join our supportive and talented team at King’s Oak Academy Lower School. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

The Lunchtime Supervisor/School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) will work as part of a team to supervise and support students, from Reception to Year 4, during the lunchtime break. Lunchtime Supervisors ensure the safety, general welfare and proper conduct of students during this period and are responsible for making the lunchtime period a positive experience for all.

About you:
You will:

- Have knowledge of basic hygiene procedures.
- Able to maintain confidentiality over matters relating to the academy, with students, staff and/or parents.
- Strong interpersonal skills, in particular demonstrates empathy and active listening.
- Able to relate well to children, young people and adults. 

King’s Oak Academy is situated in the heart of the South Gloucestershire community and is within easy commuting distance of Bristol and Bath. The academy has been part of the Cabot Learning Federation since 2011 and benefits from being part of a mature, successful MAT (Cabot Learning Federation) which offers access to excellent professional services and opportunities to work in collaboration with experienced professionals across the Trust.

As an all-through school, King's Oak is in a privileged position to educate children for aged 4-16 and support their respective families in the local community. The academy staff structure and estates are divided into three phases (Lower School = Reception - Year 4, Middle School = Year 5-8, Upper School = Year 9 - 11).
