Job Summary:
As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the efficient production of our products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Working under the guidance of our Production Team Leaders and the Production Delivery Manager, you’ll employ your practical skills to work efficiently and meticulously, contributing to our commitment to outstanding performance.
Key Functions:
- Operating production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines. This may include assembly lines, hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Monitoring product quality throughout the production process, conducting regular inspections and reporting to Team Leaders as necessary to maintain standards.
- Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Upholding a disciplined approach to maintain a safe working environment and adherence to job-related procedures.
Essential Skills & Education:
- Prior experience in a factory or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency with small hand tools.
- A track record of following SOPs and detailed instructions accurately.
- A proactive attitude towards embracing change and improvement.
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic maths and measurement skills.
