The Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, currently in late-stage development, will see up to 72 turbines located 15 km off the Angus Coast and connect to the National Grid at Cockenzie, East Lothian.

Our projects are poised to play key role in green economic recovery.

Once complete, it will be one of Scotland’s largest single sources of renewable energy and power up to 1 million homes with clean electricity.

**Summary of Assignment**:
The commercial interface lead will play a key role in inputting into the risk register and with the lending process by engaging as required with the lenders technical and commercial teams.

**Responsibilities**

Promotion of good quality interface management.
- Develop and update the Project’s interface documents on a regular basis and ensure its overall quality and consistency across contracts,
- Facilitate pro-active commercial interface management internally, e.g., supporting relevant Managers, in the Project team and with the external stakeholders,
- Monitoring of the commercial interface performance and ensure that the different stakeholders are aware of their respective interfaces, their responsibilities and contractual obligations,
- Ensuring good and timely communication and collaboration (both internal and external) between the different stakeholders with respect to the commercial interface performance,
- Facilitating mitigation measures to address interface risks (supporting the Risk Manager and the planner).
- Development, maintaining and support of processes between work packages and contractors / suppliers for the management of commercial interfaces,
- Promote a common and consistent commercial approach across packages where practical,
- Close co-operation with other parts of the project team/group to ensure compliance with company initiatives, policies, standards and procedures

Ensuring commercial Interface Management.
- Establish, develop and implement appropriate commercial interface management tools for the project,
- Participate in the tendering and contracting process for the major contract work areas to ensure that the commercial interfaces are suitably defined within the contracts,
- Facilitate and manage commercial interface co-ordination meetings, workshops, seminars etc. internally as well as with contractors,
- Manage the exchange of commercial interface information between all parties and disciplines in the project. Record the exchange of information between parties and record to close out of interfaces,

Commercial Interface Reporting.
- Communicate commercial interface risks to key project staff in a clear and understandable way’
- Coordination of cross package communication activities to ensure consistency particularly in engagement with certifiers/lender technical advisors/insurers / commercial to ensure good two-way communication, identification of issues/challenges and timely. This needs to be coordinated with the Interface Manager and technical team
- Monthly reporting as agreed with the Interface Manager

Ad-hoc Project Support.
- Provide commercial support as required across key packages and as agreed with the Commercial Manager.

**Skills**:

**Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of MS Office systems
- Confident presenter

**Qualifications**:

- Degree qualified e.g., B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Engineering, Business Administration or other
- Holder of or working towards certification/membership of relevant professional institution e.g., APM or IPMO
