Job Overview:
TQ Beerworks Taphouse has been open in Torquay for around two years and is located in a vibrant, trendy area of Torquay opposite the seafront. We are now looking for new staff to support us during the summer season and beyond. We specialise in craft beer but also serve other exciting artisan products.

Full-time and Part-time positions are available. Please specify which you would prefer in your cover letter.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in a bar setting is preferred, however, any necessary training will be given. Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays is required.

Shifts and hours however, can be flexible and can be discussed at interview and with management as appropriate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and take their orders promptly and accurately.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar as a whole.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the service of alcohol.
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences.
- Cash handling and use of a till system.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required as well as being a key holder.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Receiving orders and checking stock/restocking fridges
- (Not essential although useful) - knowledge of social media and ability to help the bar with its social media output
