Job Title: Quality Control Officer

**Salary**: £21-27k
Location: Lytham
Hours: 8am to 4:30pm

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent
Overview
Main Duties:

- Sample materials in accordance with the correct procedures and submit the samples to for analysis.
- Review any results and reports to ensure their compliance status and if compliant, release stock in accordance with the correct procedures.
- Sample and check packaging
- Provide production staff with all required manufacturing documentation.
- Ensure that during production, all relevant documentation is accurately completed by those responsible for the operation.
- Perform systematic checks during production activities in the factory, to ensure compliance to manufacturing processes, specifications, standard operating procedures and GMP.
- Ensure all checks are documented
- Inform the Manager when any products fail to meet the acceptance criteria and provide assistance
- Complete daily transfer sheets for products
- Input batch details on artwork and print the associated labels for Production.
- Perform pallet checking for palletised finished product orders.
- Provide assistance with rejections and generating the batch record packs for the release of licensed products.
- Ensure retains of raw materials, bulk and finished products are appropriately logged and retained.ct.
- Assist the with process and cleaning validation and stability study requirements.
- Help in the review and assessment of all returned products, ensuring all records are accurate
- Attend staff meetings and training as required.
- Occasional travel to other sites may be required
- Be flexible in working hours by providing QC cover outside of routine hours as required.
Person specification:

- Either a Science degree or 2 years quality control experience.
- Excellent time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills
- Able to work well independently
- A quick learner
- Self motivated
- Hard working
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- A team player
