Support Worker jobs in Stoke Hays Social Care have several exciting permanent opportunities for Residential Support Workers in the Stoke on Trent area. We are working on behalf of a well-established client to hire an established workforce of support workersinto their adults' residential service. Your new company You will be working for a well-established company based in Stoke on Trent. You will work under the guidance of the care coordinator, unit manager and a great team of trained nursing staff. The servicehas multiple units to which staff are allocated; each unit offers support to users with different requirements. You will be required to support adults with complex issues such as: learning disabilities, acquired injury and dementia. Your new role You willbe providing support to adults with complex issues such as: learning disabilities, acquired injury and dementia. We have multiple vacancies available both part time and full time to suit your needs with the choice of days, nights and twilight shifts. No previousexperience is required as the company offers an in depth and extensive induction and development scheme which includes a full day induction, e-learning, buddy shifts for your first few weeks and company funded enrolment onto your care certificate. What you'llneed to succeed A keen interest in working within the care sectorPrevious experience is desirable but not essential as training will be providedA strong desire to make a difference to people's livesStrong communication skillsResilience and adaptability forpotentially stressful situationsThe ability to meet physical and emotional needs for residents with complex needs.
