My client is in the process of expanding their business within a brand new office in Letchworth and are seeking a Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer. They have an outstanding track record of delivering bespoke power electronics to a variety of industriesacross the globe, including the defence, military, rail and clean energy sector.
As the Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer, you will work on the full product life cycle from design to manufacture for a range of bespoke and high quality SMPS power supplies. This also includes meeting customers and understanding their requirements.You will help build up a design team to help deliver innovative products for my client's wide customer base.
Working this role could potentially lead you to becoming the head of design and building up your own team to meet customer requirements.
The ideal Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer will need the following experience in order to be considered:

- Degree educated in electronic engineering or equivalent discipline
- Experience in the design and development of power supply / SMPS / power electronics products across the full development life cycle including the main switching circuitry, magnetics design and the EMC side of it.
- Experience of either SMPS or other variants of AC/DC, DC/DC converter design.
- You must be able to obtain Security Clearance
