**About the role and our team**

Are you a friendly and motivated individual looking for a role assisting the general public?

Join our team as a Bank Receptionist at the National Sports Centre (NSC) to cover busy periods, holidays and sickness absence of contracted receptionists.

The NSC is a large multi-sports centre and athletics stadium offering a variety of sporting and health opportunities for our community.

Within this role you will be in the initial point of contact for our customers, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

- Operating the computerised till system, handling cash and other methods of payment, balancing the till at the end of each shift
- Processing retail sales and equipment hire, including monitoring stock levels
- Monitoring the door entry control system

**Additional information**

Please note a basic police check is required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.

A uniform will be provided.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
