**Sales Executive - Competitive Salary - **Cambridge**
**The Role**

We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. Day-to-day you will plan your sales activities, lead the end-to-end sales interaction with the customer and manage your sales internally within their organisation. You will seek togrow revenue and market share by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities, and bringing the sales process to a mutually acceptable close.
You will have a thorough understanding of Professional Academy's qualifications and will be an expert at analysing learner needs by carefully evaluating their needs, including their current academic attainment levels and any future studies they may be interestedin.
You will be required to develop customer relationships by establishing rapport and building trust and confidence in their own and their organisation’s capabilities through demonstration of detailed product knowledge, competitor knowledge and an understandingof the market in which they operate, and by ensuring a positive customer experience.
**Key Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of a Sales Executiveinclude, but are not limited to:
- Identify potential new customers and leads through an evaluation of information sources and market intelligence
- Respond to inbound sales enquiries and proactively pursue an outbound contact strategy to convert leads
- Manage the Jivo chat function, responding quickly to customer enquiries
- Make contact with, and provide high quality, value-based quotations and propositions to new customers
- Undertake the necessary interactions with the client to progress the proposition through the various phases of the sales cycle.
- Effectively follow up all quotations and sales opportunities to maximise conversions to the next stage of the sales pipeline
- Follow the stages defined in the company sales cycle, only moving a sale to the next phase based upon the action of the potential customer
- Engage with new customers, overcoming objections and where necessary, negotiating to close new business contracts
- Build and maintain a forecast of potential business
- Maintain CRM records relating to all potential leads and opportunities
- Cross-sell and up-sell to maximise revenue and profit opportunities.

- Effectively communicate and interpret customer information exchanged through written, verbal and non-verbal communication
- Be highly skilled at effective questioning and active listening techniques to understand the customer’s needs, guide the sales conversation appropriately, create mutual understanding, and build trust and affinity with customers
- Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively develop new and existing customer relationships
- Proactively monitor the customer experience
- Demonstrate the ability to control your actions, reactions and emotions
- Remain calm under pressure and be aware of your personal impact on others
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain optimism and professionalism in the face of rejection, quickly recover from setbacks, adapt well to change, and keep going in the face of adversity.
