**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Football Training Delivery for Ages 5-8**:

- Lead and deliver age-appropriate football training sessions focused on building a strong technical foundation, such as dribbling, passing, ball control, and movement.
- Design creative, fun, and engaging training activities that keep young players motivated while fostering their love for the game.
- Encourage early understanding of tactical concepts, such as positioning and teamwork, in an enjoyable and interactive way.
- Ensure sessions are progressive, helping young players improve their coordination, motor skills, and confidence on the ball.
- **Player Development & Mentorship**:

- Establish long-term relationships with players and their families, supporting children’s development both on and off the field.
- Mentor young players, providing encouragement, guidance, and constructive feedback to build self-esteem and instill positive sporting values.
- Monitor and assess player progress regularly, ensuring that all players are given opportunities to develop at their own pace.
- Create a fun and safe learning environment that encourages creativity, risk-taking, and teamwork.
- **Building Player Relationships & Community**:

- Engage with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and development.
- Develop strong relationships within the community, fostering trust and loyalty to Nxtgen Sport’s coaching philosophy.
- Act as a role model, promoting professionalism, respect, and good sportsmanship to young athletes.
- **Team Collaboration & Personal Development**:

- Work collaboratively with other Nxtgen Sport coaches to share ideas, strategies, and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development programs, workshops, and coaching certifications to ensure personal growth and improvement.
- Contribute to the overall mission and goals of Nxtgen Sport, supporting wider projects, events, and football camps.
- **Health, Safety, and Child Protection**:

- Ensure that all health, safety, and child safeguarding protocols are followed in every session.
- Provide a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where young players can grow and express themselves freely.
- Manage equipment and facilities to ensure safety and proper use.
- **Facilities & Equipment Management**:

- Use high-quality training equipment and facilities provided by Nxtgen Sport to deliver professional-level training.
- Maintain and organize training equipment to ensure sessions run smoothly and efficiently.
- Wear the provided coaching uniform to represent Nxtgen Sport professionally during all sessions and events.

**Key Requirements**:

- FA Level 1/2 Coaching Qualification (or equivalent), with a focus on youth football.
- Experience working with young children (ages 5-8) in a sports or educational environment.
- Strong knowledge of technical football coaching principles, especially for early skill development.
- Ability to engage and inspire young players with patience, enthusiasm, and creativity.
- Ambition and drive to continually grow as a coach, with a long-term commitment to both personal development and the mission of Nxtgen Sport.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with players, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to child safeguarding, welfare, and safety.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) and a valid First Aid certificate.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Previous experience as a player or coach in youth football.
- Understanding of child development stages, particularly in the context of sports.
- Ability to plan long-term development strategies for young athletes.
