NC Associates are looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join a market leading organisation based in Chester. As the Credit Controller you will report directly into the Credit Control Manager.
**Duties**
- Proactively chase outstanding debt
- Negotiate repayment plans for customers
- Processing payments
- Liaise with Legal Department and provide instructions / information relating to files referred for Legal Action.
- Prepare and distribute weekly report
- Recovering debt using letters, telephone and text
- Taking decisions as to when to refer to solicitors for legal action
- Reconciling bad debt G/L accounts at period end
- Handling company and customer queries
- Providing reports and bad debt figures as required
**Essential Experience Required**
- Experience working in a Credit Control/Collections position
- High degree of attention to detail
- Confident communicator
- Ability to work from own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure
