Residential support workers required for our Children's Home. The organisation provides 24 hour care and support to young people with challenging behaviors, 365 days per year.

There are a few positions available on a shift rota basis including days, nights and weekends. We are looking for individuals who will:

- **Provide support for young people in all aspects of their care, meeting the children's home standards**
**Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural, cultural and educational needs of young our young people**
**Work within the child protection/safeguarding policy and practice**
**Engage with the children and young people and be pro-active**
**Give advice and support on daily activities & instill life skills**
**Work alongside the child to help develop a true sense of identity and feel self worth**
**Help the young people gain self control by challenging unacceptable behaviour and rewarding acceptable, pro-social conduct**
**Ensure that each young persons care plan is followed and amended as appropriate to reflect their challenging needs**

Desirable: - possess the NVQ/QCF level 3/4 qualification in young people and children, if not, you will work towards gaining this qualification.

**Relevant training will be provided**

Successful applicants will receive ongoing training, support and supervision. Successful applicants are required to provide a DBS.

Safer recruitment policy will be followed due to working with vulnerable young people.

Possess a full driving licence.

Full time and Part-time hours: 0-40 per week, including 1 or 2 sleeps per week dependent on contract type - this can be discussed in the interview stages.

Full induction week paid.

£65.00 per sleep in

£12.50 per hour unqualified

£13.00 per hour qualified

*Please note, the service is open Bank Holidays and the Christmas & New Year Period*

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
