Junior Buyer

We’re thrilled to be once again working exclusively with our client who are a well-established FMCG business who deal in **beauty products**. They are looking for a Junior Buyer to join their fast-paced business where you will be responsible for working with allocated suppliers to maximise cost savings and funded promotional activity. You will be responsible for ensuring stock levels are kept between minimum and maximum parameters to achieve stock availability and stock valuation KPI’s.

This role reports into the Head of Trading and is a great opportunity for someone who has an interest in hair and beauty and who wants to be part of an award-winning family run business who have been established for over 75 years and who have a strong focus on personal development.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Achieve individual, team and Company Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Negotiate best terms with suppliers.
- Account manage key suppliers, improving supplier’s performance.
- Raise and place replenishment orders with approved suppliers, ensuring continuity of stock levels within minimum/maximum levels.
- Use below reports to monitor stock levels, re-scheduling orders as required.
- Actively monitor and reduce slow moving stock, implementing procedures to reduce.
- Submit monthly promotion selections by supplier.
- Maintain promotional stocks to an acceptable level.
- Deal with invoicing queries.
- Actively source new products stimulate sales growth.
- Supply new product information/samples for training purposes.
- Ensure new product information meets company data requirements and is passed to the relevant business channels.
- Maintain and update supplier information on the system.

Our client offers a **hybrid **working pattern, requiring 3 days on-site, 2 days WFH. With offices based in North Coventry, this particular location is commutable from Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Rugby, Coventry and Sutton Coldfield.
