In order to support these activities, we are currently seeking a **Content Marketing Executive.**

**Key Responsibilities of Role**:
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Content Marketing Executive is responsible for helping to develop short-term and long-term messaging strategies and writing on-brand content across multichannel marketing channels and within the press.

Working in conjunction with the Global Marketing team, this role also takes overall responsibility of the company’s press release strategy (excluding investor relations press).

This role also requires cross-functional teamwork to create content that is applicable to the end user of our products and new customers, and to edit content created by other areas of the marketing team and wider business.

**Specific / Other responsibilities will include**:

- Creates compelling, creative content that captures the target audience’s (e.g., healthcare professionals, caregivers, and patients) attention and influences action, and edits content to ensure consistent quality, voice, messaging and brand adherence.
- Creates detailed plans for content creation to target key customer segments including template creation, publication schedules, editorial calendars, topic generation and messaging themes
- Responsible for the development and execution of the companies press strategy.
- Oversees and manages the voice of the content produced
- Audits existing content to recommend tactics for improvement
- Edits own and other’s work for adherence to brand guidelines, AP/AMA styles, and digital content best practices
- Understands and adheres to Global and internal regulatory affairs guidelines as they affect initiatives
- Ensures compliance with copyright law and data protection
- Establishes processes and procedures to ensure best practices and quality deliverables
- Develops relationships and works collaboratively within the Global Marketing team, Regional Brand Leads, Business Leads, and other key stake holders
- Identifies and manages relationships with digital and medical communications agencies and related Marketing services vendors, including project management, budget tracking and coordination of communication
- Utilises AI tools to assist with overall workflow and company content targets.
- Manages external content writers and proofreading, as needed

**Qualifications and/or experience required to perform the role**:

- Bachelor’s Degree, or relevant experience in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, English or Journalism
- Proven experience with creative writing, copyediting, news writing, digital, marketing and proof reading
- A dual-minded approach: Highly creative, and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of HTML code language or willingness to learn HTML.
- Ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects, deliver activities and results while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced working environment
- Effective peer and upward management
- Experience with referencing work
- Hands-on attitude, with the ability to work independently

**Office Location**

This position is based in our Global Head Office, situated on the Oxford Science Park which is easily accessible via all modes of transport. The Oxford Science Park has excellent on-site facilities for colleagues, such as The Magdalen Centre and the Sadler Building providing both hot and cold food and beverages. In addition, the Oxford Science Park houses a private nursery for children aged 0 - 5 and is rated as “Good” with Ofsted.

Our Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Device Development, Sales and Customer Service teams operate from Oxford as well as some members of our Executive Leadership Team.
