An international logistics company in Liverpool are currently seeking a Customer Sales Advisor to join their expanding team. The purpose of the role is to act as the first point of contact for clients of the business and provide them with a quality serviceand ensure all their needs are met. On offer is a basic salary of £28,000 to £32,000 working Monday to Friday.
The main duties of a Customer Sales Advisor are;- Be the initial point of contact for clients
- Provide customers with quotations and ensure all requests are responded to
- Liaise with shipping lines, NVOCC's and consolidators to provide a choice on service
- Take ownership of the client by managing the entire quotation process
- Assist management in spot pricing
- Being financially responsible for both costs and revenue
- Provide a consistent and uninterrupted service to all clients
- Maintaining regular contact and providing updates to all clients
- Supporting the wider team to ensure a complete client solution
- You must also have an understanding of freight pricing - import, export and cross trade
- Possess excellent IT skills
- Be customer orientated and be able to deliver a quality service in a friendly, calm and professional manner
