Southsea, United Kingdom FindersKeepers Rec. Full time

Our delightful and extremely chatty 7-year-old client with Cerebral Palsy in Portsmouth PO4 is looking for an upbeat, nurturing Support Worker who shares her love of Disney movies, storytelling and arts and crafts. M also loves spending time with her close-knit family as well as singing and playing the piano so if you have a musical background or just a love of music then you might be our perfect fit.

**The Role/Client**:
Our client has Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy (which presents mostly at night so her daytime routine is not impacted). She lives with her Mum and attends mainstream school which she really enjoys. She enjoys riding her trike and spending time outside. M has some difficulties with speech sounds but is easy to understand once you get to know her

**About You**:
You will engage and play with M, help her with homework, prepare food and support her with eating. You will provide personal care and toileting and assist her with mobilising.

M receives support from a Physiotherapist, SALT and OT and you will implement their exercise and activities programmes into her routine in a fun and engaging way to help M achieve her rehabilitation goals.

You need to be a caring and reliable individual with a positive outlook who is able to work with M in her family home environment.

You will need to be a driver with a full UK licence able to drive our client’s manual car and enable her to access the community/activities and you will be over 21 for insurance purposes.
