**Cash Applications & Collections Specialist -** **Reading - Onsite**

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**

This role will help support & develop the Accounts Receivable function within the Finance department. This is an exciting time to join the Finance team at Dye & Durham as we are going through a transformation with the backing of Executive Leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity to get a lot broader experience and develop your skills and knowledge in an A/R department, whilst also making your mark on D&D processes
- You will have a wide range of responsibilities, but we think the most important are;_
- Account reconciliations - able to identify issues and work to resolve them across multiple systems
- Credit collection and relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders
- Setting up direct debits
- Help with continuous improvements of our systems and processes whilst ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Review and analysis of data to check for discrepancies, including ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported within company guidelines.

**WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED?**
- We know you will have a wide range of skills and experience, but we think the most important are;_
- Recent, commercial experience in a similar role, with an understanding of best practice in processes and ways of working.
- Excellent Excel skills, able to analyse and manipulate data to complete daily tasks, using IF statements, VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- A desire to learn and develop, keen to learn new skills
- Be a proactive problem solver, able to look at a problem holistically and find the most efficient way of solving it
- A passion for working with numbers and data, for finding errors and resolving issues
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Sage 50 would benefit you in this role but isn't required.
- Able to work onsite from our Reading office
