Roehampton Gate School (RGS) is a school for young people aged 9 -19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. Located in Roehampton, South West London, we aim to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment.
**Duties of the role will include**:
- Supporting students in time of crisis.
- Utilising Positive Behaviour techniques to de-escalate behaviours
- To support & implement PBS plans.
- Carry out interventions to support social and emotional progress
- Liaise with staff across school including Therapy, LSA’s, Teachers & Leaders.
- Attend meetings when required
- Track and support behaviours
- Support classes if & when needed
- Undertake PROACT-SCIPr procedures when required
- Support the integration of new students
- Liaise with parents and agencies
- Monitor progress of students
- Work dynamically with the pastoral team
- Follow clear professional boundaries when working with students.
