Amazon’s OpsTech IT Deployment Program Manager Team are looking for an experienced leader in Technical Infrastructure Program Management to own the IT Infrastructure design and delivery program for both new and existing Amazon logistic operations buildingsof varying sizes. This person will influence global best practices by leading collaboration with multi-disciplinary stakeholders to identify opportunities in both design and deployment processes. They will influence, advise on and develop innovative designpractices, processes and products for standard and custom infrastructure programs.

Key job responsibilities
You must be able to work independently with occasional guidance and work within a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks. This includes working with internal groups as well as external suppliers and consultants, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.Your duties will include:

- Auditing, benchmarking and managing the third party telecoms design vendors.
- Updating and modifying existing models and design documents and assist with creating and maintaining standard regional BIM templates.
- Participate in design coordination meetings with other trades for clash detection and resolution.
- Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations.
- Assist the project team with information exchange processes between internal and external customers.
- Provide coordination support for information requests during launch phases.
- Recording and reporting of key metrics to management.
- Minimum 25% traveling required

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- A strong track record of on-time project delivery for large, cross-functional projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of technical program management experience including working with engineering teams, managing projects across cross functional teams and building sustainable processes.
- 3+ years of design/engineering experience of Telecom building systems for mission critical facilities.
- Basic understanding of Electrical Systems design.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of Telecom and Electrical codes and safety regulations.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Capability to create a strong business and technical vision and drive a team towards that vision
- PMP or Project Management Certification
- Familiarity with building large scale solutions across many integrated and distributed systems, with great availability, performance, and security.
- Track record of building IT solutions based on internal or external customer requirements
- 5+ years experience in IT Infrastructure projects such as co-location, network deployment, production operations
- Exposure to multiple project management methodologies is a plus
- Experience within complex organizational settings (e.g., geographic dispersion)
- Excellent organization, quantitative, and presentation skills
- Experience directly related to telecoms design and construction.
- Experience with developing Revit Family content.
