Our client is part of Industrial Manufacturing Company International, a US based organisation comprising a number of engineering manufacturing companies worldwide, producing a varied range of specialised products for numerous industries including: naval,mining, steel, machine tools, rail, agriculture, marine, military, power generation, gas & oil, printing, packaging, food and beverage, têxtiles, material handling, aerospace, heat treatment, plastics and many more.

The company continues to be the supplier of choice for numerous end-users and international manufacturers who demand high levels of professionalism, design competence, quality of workmanship and specification compliant products, supported by experiencedinstall and commissioning services.

The primary function of the role is to assist in maintaining and increasing our share of the Oil, Cooling Water and Industrial AC markets by continuing the development of competitive technical solutions to client requirements

The product range within your remit will include oil recirculating, cooling water systems and industrial energy recovery systems. (Where necessary, training in system design, component selection, design calculations, controls, wiring, fabrication estimating,testing, installation and site support will be offered.)

- You must present a good profile of the Company at all times and maintain a high standard of personal presentation, tidiness etc
- Must be self-motivated with excellent organisational skills and a confident attitude
- Flexibility to travel on the business including overseas and stay away from home on occasion, if and when required
- Ability to work as a member of a team and able to demonstrate superb communication skills, liaising with sales, contracts and installation departments to achieve a common goal
- Above all, uphold, safeguard and promote the organisation's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, integrity, corporate (social) responsibility, 'Fair Trade', etc

**What will your role as a Technical Applications Engineer look like?**
- To provide internal technical design and specification review support to sales personnel on enquiries for Oil, Cooling and industrial AC systems
- To ensure systems designs fulfil client requirements, comply with specifications and are competitive
- To assist in remote and on-site system commissioning and troubleshooting
- To maintain current and develop new orders for the Company's products and services with a view to achieving both Cooling, Oil, AC and Group targets within budget.
- Review customer detailed specifications with qualified parameters.
- Contact customers or undertake a site visit to further discussions to enable the production of an acceptable solution.
- Provide general sales and promotional assistance to the Sales Director and Technical Director and external sales teams
