We have a vacancy for a Craftsperson (Overhead Lines) based in Kettering.

In this role you will be required to undertake construction, maintenance, replacement and repair of overhead lines up to and including 66kV This is a diverse role that will see you working in all kinds of challenging terrain and weather. You will work atheight so experience of this will be beneficial.

A level 2 qualification in Electrical Engineering is desirable however the opportunity to study for this qualification if not held will be given.

If you are offered a position, you will be required to successfully complete a basic DBS check that shows any unspent convictions or conditional cautions.

You must be able to work on your own initiative as part of a small team, making on the spot decisions as required and working to tight deadlines. A flexible attitude is essential, as you will be required to undertake other duties to assist the team in meetingits objectives. In addition, you will need to be mobile throughout the area as you may be required to undertake standby duties.
