**Rate**: Competitive - £300 to £450 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Fire Risk Assessor looking for freelance opportunities across the North West?

**The Role**

As a Freelance Fire Risk Assessor, you’ll be responsible for conducting thorough fire risk assessments across a range of premises, ensuring compliance with the Fire Safety Act and Fire Safety (England) Regulations. You’ll provide detailed reports, actionable recommendations, and expert guidance to clients, helping them to maintain a safe and compliant environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conducting fire risk assessments in line with PAS 79 and relevant fire safety legislation.
- Inspecting premises, identifying fire hazards, and evaluating risk levels.
- Producing clear, detailed reports with practical recommendations for fire safety improvements.
- Advising clients on compliance with fire safety laws and best practices.
- Working independently and managing your workload efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in fire risk assessment (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Recognised fire safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Fire, CFPA Europe, FPA, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and standards.
- Ability to work on a freelance basis with access to own transport.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Professional indemnity insurance (preferred but not essential).
