Job Role : Electrical Onsite Assessor

We are a Training & Education Centre based on the South Coast. We have recently opened up a refreshed role for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team in the office to provide and support apprentices and adult learners in completing their onsite portfolio evidence whilst assessing the discipline of qualifications and suitability.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for providing high-quality training and assessment in the electrical industry and can be supportive, flexible and adaptive to a process role that is based in our Portslade office although the role requires traveling within a 30-40 mile radius.

The role includes:

- Conduct assessments of electrical learners in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Observe and evaluate learners' practical skills, including electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to learners, facilitating their professional development and helping them achieve their qualification goals.
- Maintain accurate records of assessment outcomes, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with the training team to design and develop assessment materials and resources.
- Stay updated with relevant industry developments, codes, and regulations, incorporating them into assessments when necessary.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance your own knowledge and skills.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working as an Electrical Onsite Assessor or a similar role in the electrical industry.
- Hold a relevant electrical qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 or higher.
- Possess a thorough understanding of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Demonstrated ability to assess learners' practical skills and competencies effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback to learners.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to electrical training and assessment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and promoting best practices.
- Flexibility to travel to various workplace locations, as required.

We are looking for someone who is confident, a team player and able to manage themselves and their workload.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Electrical Installation: 5 years (preferred)
