The Role & Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join the fast-growing SME Lending Division of Shawbrook Bank, supporting the delivery of the marketing plan across a wide range of channels, markets, and activities.

The role-holder will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of marketing materials; designing and implementing digital marketing campaigns; developing a range of content including social media posts and video; evaluating marketing performance; and monitoring of the marketing budget. The role will also provide opportunity to take on specific responsibilities and projects to enhance customer experience.

- Legal & Compliance teams
- Central Marketing Team
- Finance Department
- Working with external agencies and the Marketing Team, manage the delivery of a range of B2B and B2I marketing materials and collateral including advertising, brochures, newsletters, website content and customer communications
- Work with Marketing Manager and across the division on specific projects to enhance customer experience and understanding
- Support with arranging of SME Lending campaigns and events, from planning, content preparation and distribution to providing analysis and reporting on completion of activities
- Ensure all marketing and communications materials are engaging on brand and effective by employing a considered approach to briefing work and evaluation
- Help to drive the creative process across advertising and PR to differentiate Shawbrook‘s products and services
- Manage internal sign off processes for marketing materials including Compliance and GE&H approvals and record keeping
- Manage the creation of appropriate content for the website, our social channels and across a range of PR activities
- Work with the internal comms team to ensure the efficient flow of information about our marketing activity across the Division
- Support Communications and Sponsorship colleagues with activity and material for Real Estate, Consumer or Saracens sponsorship, where required
- Communicate and escalate potential issues/risks in a prompt and effective manner
- Manage internal sign offs to ensure all marketing materials are compliant with FCA regulation
- Help maintain activity and spend tracker and invoicing process to maintain up-to-date view of investment
- Produce dashboard and/or adhoc analysis of marketing investment (e.g., spend by channel/market/product)

The Person
- Ideally degree educated in relevant discipline (Desirable)
- CIM or IDM qualified (Desirable)
- 2+ years marketing experience within a B2B or B2I environment, ideally in finance or professional services
- Proven experience of managing agencies and 3rd party suppliers
- Able to provide examples of web, social media or other marketing content, campaigns, or collateral that they have produced - Experienced across the events and advertising space
- Extremely well organised with ability to run multiple projects and engage with multiple stakeholders
- Computer literate (good knowledge of MS Office suite - Excel, Word, Power-Point)
- Strong editing and copywriting skills
- Excellent command of the English language and ability to accurately proofread
- Analytical and comfortable dealing with numerical data
- Eye for design - ability to work with design concepts and give feedback to suppliers
- Content Editing/Publishing platform experience (e.g., Umbraco) desirable
- Adaptable and flexible
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
