Structural Engineer - Warrington | £32,000 - £38,000
We are recruiting for a Structural Engineer who is interested in working on major infrastructure projects throughout the UK. The ideal Structural Engineer will have previous experience working on projects in the rail sector, retaining structures, temporaryworks or bridge design and calculations.
The company we are working with is a fast-emerging independent engineering consultancy that has established multiple successful offices in the UK. In total, the company employs around 50 people, and the team is made up of a mix of engineering professionalsat all levels. With a focus on promoting from within, the successful Structural Engineer can expect the opportunity to progress through the company and receive support on the quest for chartered engineer status.

As a Structural Engineer working in this consultancy, you can expect to be involved with projects throughout all facets, from design to managing client relationships and delivery on-site.
About the role: Structural Engineer
- Projects will include a range of rail, road over rail, highways, temporary works, new bridge construction, bridge repair, and analysis.
- Responsibilities will include preparing and issuing technical specifications for structures, datasheets, calculation spreadsheets, and other design documents for structures on rail projects
- Working closely with other consultants to coordinate design delivery.
- Design and check of steel and concrete structures, modelling for detailed structural analysis based on Eurocodes and national annex.
- Producing conceptual bridge designs, modelling, and reviewing 2D and 3D bridge designs.
- Liaising with clients and external contractors.

- Salary £32,000-£38,000 DOE
- Support working towards Chartered Engineer status
