**About the role**:
1.Post is a 31 hour per week Support Worker
- There is a requirement to work shifts day and evenings also weekends and Bank Holidays.

You will be supporting Adults who have a Learning Disability to manage their own home as to the principal responsibilities detailed in the Job description.
**About you**:

- We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and a passion for

working with people who have a Learning disability.
- Be able to deliver a service that is person centred has a strong focus on positive outcomes and an increase in people’s wellbeing.

- To be able to think outside of the box and find creative solutions.

- To have the skills and knowledge on how to treat people with learning

disabilities as valued individuals who have worth and dignity, with equal rights to a full place in society and encourage others to do so.
- To be the holder of a full clean driving licence

**What you will do**:

- Supporting people with Learning disabilities to develop their skills and independence by demonstrating and modelling activities.
- Working alongside a dedicated staff team and other professionals in the service users’ own home and other required venues.
- Undertaking practical tasks and supporting people with their personal care,

domestic activities and socially in the community including driving service users to activities and appointments.
- Supporting service users to build and maintain family and friendship links and to reach goals and achieve personal outcomes.
- Participating constructively in regular staff supervision and appraisal sessions.
- Contribute to written assessments and Care Plans and attend Care Planning

meetings compiling and keeping detailed records and reports.
- Participating/attending required training to develop, grow and gain skills to

enhance the role.
- **There is also a 21 hours, Permanent post available, as well as a 0-hour contract role.**_

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,061.00-£31,031.00 per year

Expected hours: 31 per week
