**Responsibilities**:
- Creating a supportive and inclusive living environment within the boarding house.
- Supervising and mentoring students outside of school hours, fostering personal growth and well-being.
- Participating in extracurricular activities, outings, and events.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the safety and welfare of all students.
- Serving as a role model and advocate for the school's values and ethos.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Experience working with adolescents in an educational or residential setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive community.

- 37 weeks per year: term time + 4 weeks _
Buckswood School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Criminal Records Bureau now the Disclosure and Barring Service. You must also have the right to work in the UK with appropriate Visa if necessary. If you have not lived/worked in the UK for the past 5 years you will need to provide a Police check from the country in which you have been living and working.
