**Job Title**: Senior Care Assistant

**Locations**: Kilmarnock Branch (Areas covered - Kilmarnock and The Irvine Valley; Galston, Hurleford, Newmills, Darvel)

**Pay Rate**: £11.50 per hour

**Mileage**: 20p

**Shifts available**:30 hr permanent contract covering a range of shifts

**Access to vehicle required**: Yes, due to the geographical location and nature of the role

**Previous experience required in a care at home role.**

**Duties will include:
- Competency & Quality checks on carers in our team
- Assist with Support Plans and Risk Assessments with Service Users
- Take part in on-call on a rotational basis
- Supporting the Branch Manager in upholding care standards to ensure Care Inspectorate values are maintained at all times
- Supporting the community team when required

**Key skills and attributes required:
- Previous Care experience required
- Caring, compassionate and a good listener
- An energetic, happy person who enjoys forming relationships with people
- Able to access a vehicle
- A current member of the PVG scheme or willing to register, be registered with SSSC or be prepared to register
