Multi-Skilled Engineer Isleham (CB7) £38,000 Are you a passionate Multi-Skilled Engineer, looking for an exciting new role? Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Isleham working as part of their Engineering team. Principle Responsibilities for the Multi-Skilled Engineer: - Provider of a reactive crisis breakdown service both mechanically and electrically for the operational success of the site. Providing support and guidance for others within the team - Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing schedules and overhaul of site plant, machinery and equipment in accordance with site schedules and needs - Understand, participate and support the delivery of site performance targets - Advise and participate in process development and continuous improvement projects as directed - Participate and deliver engineering projects as scoped with the Head of Engineering - Complete tasks as issued by engineering management, proactively work through engineering work requests - Maintain the engineering log and shift hand-over, recording all aspects of work carried out on site plant, machinery and equipment, to include details of faults, remedies, parts used, relevant info and outstanding issues - Observed risks to performance to be highlighted and escalated accordingly along with suggested remedial plans - Reduce down-time of equipment due to limited stock holding. Advise of the need to order spares and consumable items ahead of failure and need. Maintain and control the "unit spare" overhaul process by third parties, ensuring stock levels and value expectationsare achieved. - Be open and receptive to any identified training requirements internal or external to business. - Work alongside third-party service engineers and contractors as needs arise. Promoting the positive image of PW Isleham and the engineering department - Adherence to Company Personal Hygiene standards Person specification: - Exposure to a hands-on engineering environment - Working within a Team - PPM delivery - City & Guilds 2323 or - 17th edition (BS 7671) - Proven PLC and electrical control's fault-finding training - H&S aware/qualification - Strong numeracy levels - Excellent fault-finding skills - Microsoft Office Suite - Food Industry experience - FMCG experience - Working with a CMMS - Time served, indentured Electro-Mechanical (Multi-Skilled) apprenticeship - Omron PLC training - 17th edition (BS 7671) - AutoCAD - Ability to produce wiring diagrams This is a full time permanent Multi-Skilled Engineer position, Panama shift 2/2/3, this would be between 06:00am - 18:15pm offering an annual salary of £38,000 plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme,discount scheme on all company products and free car parking.
