Advanced Supply Chain Group are looking for an **International Road Freight Administrator**. The primary function of the administrator role is to be readily able to support the Road Freight team. They're looking for a strong individual who isdedicated to assisting in administrative practices and providing excellent service at the same time. **Roles and Responsibilities of a International Road Freight Administrator**:

- Manage and seek to build good strong relationships with any new customers assigned to you
- Manage the processing of Road consignments in line with an agreed standard operating procedure, ensuring achievement of internal KPI’s
- Obtaining supplier rates for new enquires from existing clients and quoting in line with expected margins
- Confidently liaising with overseas agents in various countries across Europe, some of this will include supplier negotiation weather this be negotiating prices, transit times and delivery requirements
- Arrange delivers and collections in line with the customer requirements
- You will be responsible for managing 3rd party providers with the support of the International Road Freight Manager
- Building new shipments on CargoWise and booking with our approved suppliers
- Shipment tracking - daily checks on collections/ delivers. Reacting to issues communicating to client, supplier, or line manager
- Well oraganised with the maintaining of all files, ensuring that they are costed and billed correctly in accordance with procedure
- Resolving all invoice related queries for both sales and purchase when required
- Be able to manage the collation of all export documentation/ CMR’S where required
- You will be required to be on call for evenings and weekends to assist with any problems out of hours
- There will be some requirements to make on-site visits to customers, as part of a review process or in response to a customer request
- You will be required to actively participate in the internal communication and briefing process alongside the expected weekly meetings
- You will need to have a high understanding and able to research your customer’s business and be able to suggest and deliver initiatives that will benefit those customers and assist in the longer-term retention of them

**Skills and Knowledge required of an International Road Freight Administrator**:

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive in your approach to assigned tasks
- In-depth knowledge of the Forwarding industry
- Wider logistics knowledge is preferred
- You must be able to adapt and excel within a high-pressured, fast-moving environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to work well as part of a team
