As an apprentice at Scottish Water you’ll be joining one of Scotland’s most critical businesses and be part of the team who deliver essential water and waste water services to the people of Scotland.

**What will you **be **doing?**

During this 5 year programme, y ou’ll be learning everything you need t o know about how we provide our customers with high quality and safe drinking water, protecting public health and the environment in the process. You’ll be mainly working in our laboratories as part of an expert and experienced team who will support you to develop your skills and knowledge and achieve a nationally recognised qualification. This is your chance to learn as you earn, working with industry-leading teams to help deliver services that are essential to the daily lives of the people of Scotland.

**Who are we looking for?**

We’ re looking for people who are self-motivated, team pl ayer s who are practical, well organised and good problem solver s with a positive attitude and the ability to work on your own initiative. You’ll have five National 4 or 5 Qualifications ( three of which should be English, Maths and Science). Ideally you’ll also have two Highers (or equivalent) or a relevant technical qualification or relevant technical experience (min of 1 year) and hold a full current UK driving licence ( or currently be working to achieve this ).
