**Electrical Design Engineer**

**£40,000 - £45,000**

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an innovative manufacturer of bespoke handling equipment for a range of blue-chip clients globally.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be working closely with the engineering team with the end goal of delivering turnkey solutions to some huge names in industry.

You’ll have access to the best technology and be given an opportunity to have a huge impact in the business’s long-term growth.

**Duties
- Produce Electrical Schematics and General Arrangement Drawings.
- Generate Bill of Materials and Cable Schedules for projects.
- Preparation of detailed electrical specifications, test documentation and manuals.
- Continuous awareness of EMC effects all electrical design considerations.
- Supporting workshop testing and commissioning.
- Provide functional safety expertise both internally and externally.
- Working with the Electrical shop floor to ensure systems are completed to designs.
- Occasional travel to customer sites to conduct site surveys and project requirements.

**Background
- HNC in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Proficient using EPlan.
- Experience of control systems and LV electrical design and commissioning.
- Well organised with leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of PLC Systems, Siemens & Rockwell (Not essential)
- Full Driving Licence.
