**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Drive a van to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload goods, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Assist in the warehouse as needed, including organising stock and preparing items for delivery.
**Experience**
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is preferred but not essential.
- A valid commercial driving licence is required.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with team members and customers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £39,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 45 - 54 per week
