Payroll Operations Manager

We are working with an award winning organisation in the not-for-profit industry who are looking to hire a committed and passionate Payroll Manager on a permanent basis.
As Payroll Operations Manager, you will report into the Head of Finance and will oversee a small payroll team of two to ensure efficient running of the payroll and pensions department.
**Duties of the role include, but are not limited to**:
- Leading, motivating and developing the payroll team
- Conducting appraisals and 1:1s
- Lead on identifying and streamlining the department
- Collating, reconciling and reporting monthly pension data to the provider
- Annual P11d reporting & Gender Pay Gap reporting
- Reviewing payroll and pension procedures
- Dealing with complex payroll and pension queries
**Experience required**:
- In-depth and up to date UK payroll and pensions knowledge
- Demonstratable people management experience within a payroll team
- Process improvement and payroll project experience is desirable
- Experience of using payroll & pension systems
