**Two Evening sessions 6-9pm**

£12.81 - £14.39 per hour (Dependent on Experience and Qualification)

**Job Summary**:
The post holder will be responsible for the management and delivery of various programmes of youth work across the Kinetic portfolio in line with Kinetic Youth Ltd policies and procedures.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

- Delivery of youth clubs, activities and projects as directed
- Delivery of a comprehensive face to face curriculum programme of work to young people
- Effective planning and evaluation of programmes of delivery
- Support the Senior Youth Work Coordinator with delivery as directed
- Delivery of recorded and accredited outcomes for young people where possible
- Punctual and regular time keeping
- Ability to support relevant ROTL opportunities in the community with the support of Senior Youth Work Coordinator Communicate effectively with colleagues and partners
- Provide timely, accurate and relevant management information as required
- Comply with Kinetic policies which support equality, diversity and anti-discriminatory practice

**Person Specification**:
**Qualifications**

NVQ qualification in youth work at level three (worker in charge)

**Experience and skills**

Recent and significant experience of working with young people in a youth work setting

Ability to plan, evaluate and review work with young people

Ability to communicate and work effectively with vulnerable and marginalised young people

Ability to work well as part of a team

Demonstrate good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work

Ability to travel on a regular basis in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day between sites across the county

Competent in use of IT

**Knowledge**

Issues and legislation relevant to working with young people

Health and Safety, risk assessment and safeguarding procedures relevant to work with young people

Equality of opportunity, including how inequality affects the life chances of young people and their communities

Criminal Justice System as it affects young people

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.81-£14.39 per hour
